Ilmor 6.0L MPI - 75 Hour Service

Crank Mounted Ilmor 6000 MPI 6.0L engine. To maintain proper use of your MasterCraft Boat engines, and their cooling temperature. Ilmor requires the impeller to be changed every 75 hours. Failure to due so can cause catastrophic engine failure. This should be done every 75 hours or 2 years

INSPECT
Same as annual inspection. Also check Sea Strainer, Engine Alignment

CHANGE
Raw water impeller

CHECK
You must look at your Raw Water Pump. Due to changes in the design the pumps on older engines are not crank mounted. They are FEAD mounted.
