Recommended over a castle nut, the nylock nut will cover the hole for the cotter pin BUT YOU WILL NOT need the cotter pin with this nylon lock nut.
Many of our customers have lost their propellers due to a failed cotter pin/castle nut combo! Not with this Nylock Nut!
Note, if you replace your castle nut with the Nylock Nut, the Nylock Nut will cover up the cotter pin hole as it will no longer be needed and this Nylock Nut is highly recommended over the slotted castle nut.
