Transmission update kit to replace PCM 40IS model 1:1 ratio with 80S transmission used in combination with the PCM PowerPlus v-drive on GM engines. 

  • Conversion kit for updating the PCM 40IS transmission to the PCM 80S model for GM engines with the PCM PowerPlus v-drive
  • Kit includes 80S transmission RA157025
  • The transmission is 1:1 ratio direct drive and has a splined output shaft for engagement with the PowerPlus v-drive input shaft
  • Kit also includes a new damper drive plate, transmission cooler and hoses along with all necessary attaching hardware
  • No dimensional changes take place with the update
  • The original propshaft, coupler and transmission mounts can be reused
  • Replaces RA157015 transmission model 40S
  • This is the 80 kit to replace just the IRM 40-1S

This should be a left hand 5.7 Chevy with a PCM V-Drive on the back of a 40s transmission.

It would be good to make sure your information matches the above.

This kit is non-returnable unless defective or damaged in shipping.

Note that this kit replaces the 40s and connects to the PCM v-drive. The kit does NOT include the v-drive.
