Thermostat Housing Compact Design low profile. Can be used on Indmar and many other GM Chevrolet V-6 4.3-Liter and V-8 Small Block 5.0 and 5.7-Liter engines that have dual cooling circulating pump and sea water pump.
Use on raw water cooling engines only, comes complete upper and lower housings with a 160 thermostat.
Water inlet 1-1/4" and (2) water outlets 1" and Standard size Circulating pump hose outlet.
IF YOU ARE REPLACING YOUR OLD, NLA 531402 THERMOSTAT HOUSING, PLEASE READ THIS BELOW:
Some of the older applications have 2 extra hose barbs on the thermostat housing. Those housings have become No Longer Available, and you will need to use this 531067S with 2 less hose barbs.
The extra hose connections on the old style housings went to the intake manifold. 1/2 inch NPT. When you use this 53-1067S in these situations, you will need 2 of the 60-5034 plugs for the intake.
Just remove the extra 2 hoses between the intake manifold and the old thermostat housing, and use these 2 plugs.
The 2 plugs are needed for the intake manifold when 2 hoses are removed that went between the intake and the old housing.

Also, in the replumb kit the 1" hose from the top of the manifolds to the exhaust dumps is long enough to go around the front of the manifolds and under them back to the dumps.
